The Future Kingdom: Recalibration is over ten years in the making and is the first of three books in the Future Kingdom Series. It all started with the Future Kingdom Prequel Trilogy where Jerome, Nina, and Tim encounter Jesus in startling ways leading them into the Future Kingdom during the Millennial reign of Christ. During this thousand year period, they discover how much they must learn as the great King works to recalibrate the earth.

Jerome Braxton's journey started normally, but never did he dream of ending up in the Future Kingdom. In his former existence, it required landing in a jail cell to discover God's plan for his life. Little did he know that plan would lead him to Tim Alterman, also known as Tiny Tim and the roughest thug in Folsom Prison.
Years earlier Nina Carson's journey led her to New York City where she also met Tiny Tim. The interaction ended her life and sent the gangster to prison, but not before fulfilling her destiny. On her deathbed, Nina's courageous prayer for her killer in the presence of an unlikely parametric, Jordan Sheppard, intertwined all their destines. Through divine intervention, Jerome was then forced to share a jail cell with Tiny Tim.
But all of that is in the past now.
Everything changed in an instant when Jesus returned and defeated the great dragon, locking him away in a floorless dungeon. For her bravery, Nina is given the name Everlove.
Jerome is renamed Liongate, and Tim, Thunderbolt. All three now live together in the Future Kingdom and, with King Jesus ruling and reigning from His palace in Jerusalem, they soon learn how their journeys are far from over.

thoughts on the future Kingdom: recalibration and the millennium
When God spoke to me over a decade ago telling me I was going to write about the millennium, I was shocked. At that time, if you'd asked me what the millennium was, I may have been able to tell you it was a thousand years on earth. I may have even known about Satan being locked away in a bottomless pit. But, that wouldn't have been it. That was all I knew.
As I started writing The Future Kingdom Series, several questions led my search: What will the world look like? What will we be doing? Ultimately, what is the purpose of the millennium? Oh, and by the way, I learned the devil will be released near the end of the thousand years to once again deceive the nations (see Rev 20:7-10). And, not only will he succeed, but an army too vast to count will try and overthrow God's Kingdom.
Think about it: During the millennium, faith without sight will be dead. What I mean is, in our current reality the Bible says we live by faith and not by sight (2 Cor 5:7). We believe in a God and Savior we cannot see with our physical eyes. But during this dispensation, EVERYONE WILL BELIEVE! Why? Because JESUS WILL BE HERE IN PLAIN SIGHT--ruling and reigning from His palace in Jerusalem.
This idea of Satan deceiving the nations (after Jesus's reign) boggles my mind and led to another question while writing: What strategy (or argument) could Satan possibly use to deceive the nations when, 1. Everyone knows he was defeated during the battle of Armageddon? and 2. When everyone has lived under the kingship (rule and reign) of King Jesus for a thousand years. No doubt, He will be a great, kind, and loving king.
During this book series, we will answer some of these questions as you follow the journey of three main characters (their lives before and during the Future Kingdom). They have much to learn during the millennium (and I believe so do we). In their ups and downs, struggles, and successes, perhaps it will give us some food for thought as we live life here and now--in preparation for the Future Kingdom.
I pray the book blesses your socks off, as well as brings a new perspective of our ultimate destination after we die.

Tim Alterman received a mind-blowing gift; the gift of life. Why him? More importantly, why not Jerome? Still in the infamous D wing of Folsom prison, a new chapter unfolds; one that will likely set him free unless old trouble comes back to haunt him. Little does Tim know how his life is about to change, colliding with several of Jerome’s relatives and intermingled with those affected by the young woman he killed so long ago.
